Dr. Richeson speaking about Neurological Stress Reduction Therapy
Cypress Creek Chiropractic and Wellness has three Doctors in the clinic to serve your needs and assist you in reaching your health and wellness goals, Dr. Micah T. Richeson, Dr. Philip A. Snyder , and Dr. Mikala Weatherhead.
Dr. Micah Richeson
Dr. Micah T. Richeson is a 3rd generation Chiropractor who has been practicing Chiropractic Medicine since August of 2000. For the first eight years he was an associate doctor with his father and two brothers in Gainesville, Florida. In October of 2008 he moved down to Tampa and opened his own practice, Cypress Creek Chiropractic and Wellness in Wesley Chapel. He wanted to follow his true passion and dream which is to have his own Family Practice, focused on a whole body approach to Wellness and Nutrition.
Dr. Richeson attends advanced training seminars on a regular basis to be up to date on all the latest techniques and treatments. We use the latest state of the art equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of your health conditions. But above all the technology and skill, Dr. Richeson is a truly caring and compassionate physician who always has his patients best interest at heart. He truly listens and cares, and it shows in the amount of quality time he spends with all his patients.
Dr. Richeson received his Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker College in Dallas in August of 2000. He uses a variety of methods of treatment in his clinic. His primary method is Diversified which is a hands on treatment, along with Gonstead and Thompson. He also is an authorized Pro-Adjuster Doctor. The Pro-Adjuster is an amazing piece of equipment that uses NASA certified technology to adjust the spine. It uses a mechanical activator linked to a computer for precision. This is an extremely safe and effective manner of adjusting and is very well received by patients who are fearful of a manual adjustment. Dr. Richeson is also proficient at adjusting extremities such as shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees and ankles. He is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to helping you achieve your wellness goals.
Dr. Philip Snyder
Dr. Philip Snyder is a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine, licensed to practice in Florida and Pennsylvania. He graduated from Life University, cum laude, and has worked with elite athletes, both Professional and Division I, Olympic medalists, runners, rugby players, golfers, swimmers, triathletes, WWE, NFL, NBA, and MLB players. Dr. Snyder specializes in identifying and correcting problems associated with posture and movement.
In addition, Dr. Snyder holds a Master’s degree in Sport Health Science with an emphasis on Sport Injury Management; this includes extensive training in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. He incorporates this training into a concept of structure and function, treating muscle imbalances and the kinetic chain while utilizing various methods of rehabilitation.
Dr. Snyder strives to identify what is causing the patients particular problems to occur and which muscles or actions are involved. He emphasizes muscle imbalance, core stabilization, balance training, coordination and movement, and power. This aids in retraining patterns in the brain through proprioceptive rehabilitation, allowing the athlete to achieve optimal performance. A combination of adjustments, stretching, strengthening, and movement modifications are utilized to help correct the dysfunction. Dr. Snyder’s goal is to keep you moving so that you can do what you love.
Dr. Snyder holds various certifications including Certified Chiropractic Sport Physician®, fully certified in Active Release Technique® and KinesioTaping®. He is certified by the Council of Extremity Adjusting as a CCEP® with post graduate training in adjustment of extremities (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, feet, and the jaw). He also has completed post graduate training programs in Strength and Conditioning.
Should you be looking for Dr. Snyder at times other than office hours you can find him spending time with his family or at the gym weightlifting.

It's a great place to go to be adjusted and, in my case, realigned! Unfortunately my problems will never go away but Dr Micah is very good at what he does to keep me moving and mobile. The staff there are lovely too and yes I would highly recommend going there.
